DEADALUS CAVES

There is a place where, for thousands of years, the Earth has been sharing with human beings his deepest breath.
It’s the abode of Kronos, father of Zeus, God of Time, of Fertility and Agriculture Here myths are at home.

These are probably the oldest thermal baths on Earth They were built by the famous architect Dedalus who arrived here escaping from the labyrinth of Creta and after the loss of his son Icarus
Here is where a Saint, Saint Calogero, in the 16th century, used to make people sit to heal breathing diseases. The fact that this place used to heal both body and mind was assured by the name of the Saint: Calogero, which in Ancient Greek, means “nice elderly man”. Here people age really well.

This site, located on Mount Kronio, is a unique place in the world, where you can live one of the experiences of Sciacca, the city of the 5 Senses.

Reservation is not required, simply go to the cave during the opening hours specified below.

To respect the distancing, visits inside the caves are carried out by a maximum of 4 people at a time.
